
Neil Mallon Bush
Mr. Neil Bush is the third of five children of President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush. He and his wife Maria live in Houston, Texas and have six children.
Mr. Neil Bush has been involved with oil and gas and international business development for over 30 years. In 1980 Mr. Neil Bush joined Amoco Production Company in Denver, Colorado. During the decade of the 1980s Mr. Bush formed two independent oil companies, JNB Exploration and Apex Energy, which explored for oil in various American states including Wyoming, Colorado, California, and Michigan and in Argentina. In the 1990s Mr. Bush diversified in the oil industry by becoming a part owner of Ultrafloat Corporation, a Houston based company that supplies conservation equipment to oil field storage facilities.
For the past fifteen years through Interlink LLC, Global XS, and Global XS Asia Mr. Bush has engaged in various international business development activities with a focus on China and the Middle East. Mr. Bush first visited China in 1976 when his father was the Chief Liaison Officer representing the United States in Beijing. Since then Mr. Bush has worked with numerous entities on a variety of projects including real estate development (CP Group and Koll Companies, Pudong Mall), automobile parts (Ford Motor Company), sheet rock manufacturing, paint production (PPG), oil and gas project development, and engineering and construction projects.
In addition Mr. Bush serves as Co-Chairman of CIIC, a domestic Chinese company that has hotel, industrial park development, property management, and internet businesses. In addition Mr. Bush and his partners at Global XS Asia have worked closely Chinese SOE’s to develop oil and gas contracts and mining and steel mill operations in Africa.
Mr. Bush’s current domestic oil and gas activity includes investments in an active oil development project in Texas that utilizes state of the art technology for enhanced oil recovery from an old producing area and the aggregation of overseas funds for investment in upstream oil activities in the United States.
Mr. Bush, along with his business partner Mr. Mark Bush, formed TxOil Ltd. and have assembled a top team of oil and gas experts to work with the government of Turkmenistan to further develop its oil and gas potential.
Mr. Bush graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in International Economics and from the Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business with a Masters in Business Administration.
Mr. Bush serves as the Chairman of the Points of Light Institute, a national organization formed by President George HW Bush in 1989 that promotes citizen service through volunteerism to communities all across America and increasingly overseas.
